What happened to the Ivalice games and which to play first?

Hi,


I'm sort of flabbergasted at Square for not even making a FF Tactics A3 for 3DS or whatever, seeing how the Fire Emblem series really took off on that platform.



Why didn't they continue the Ivalice side games?





Then...my next question is...which of these should I play next after finishing XII?
